Products

Windoor prides itself on being able to deliver beautiful well-made windows and doors. A high quality product is one that not only looks good but one where things stay square, are more water resistant and last longer. This standard is achieved by the materials that are used, the way the components are produced and the caliber of the people who put them together.

Most window and door products are manufactured in solid Western Red Cedar. However they can also be made in various hardwood species including merbau, rose wood, Tasmanian oak, blackbutt and recycled blackbutt. Other species can be sourced if required. You should note that Windoor does not use any finger jointed or veneered material.

Window and door components are prepared using the latest machinery that gives great accuracy and are then assembled using traditional joinery techniques. Standard window frames are put together using bridal joints (not butt joints). Doors and window sashes are all made with mortice and tenon joints (not dowels). These manufacturing methods mean that these items stay squarer, are more waterproof and last longer. Only quality hardware is used.

Not only can Windoor make a full range of standard products we can make virtually any window or door that you design.
